276 - Near the Crossroad
Sometimes we reach a place when we realize we are stuck, discontent. So it is for a young friend of mine, capable at her high tech job, a true and loyal friend and colleague, a generous spirit who finds herself longing for a way to express all her capabilities. She edges ever closer to fulfillment.
Two Hundred Seventy-Six
Near the Crossroad
I shy away from choices,
Even small decisions confound me;
The bigger picture obscures my uncertainty,
My own shadow falls across my path.
Consider me, my Guide, for clarity.
Help me toss away confusion,
Let me fling it into the wind like chaff,
Winnowing my expectations.
I come to You as student,
Listening to the wisdom of Your kindness;
As I begin my life’s redefinition,
Stand by me, support me.
