Connections

I find You, Great Designer, in everyday occurrences,
The links to links that propel me
On. Like a child’s toy, You add pieces,
Clicking them together, building.

You compel me to connectedness:
Find associations; pursue relationships.
I am a stone at rest, attachment of lichens;
Experience’s many colors adorn me.

Each action suggests the next,
An intricacy of serendipity and plan;
I praise You as I see the parts join,
As I taste the moment and sense the whole.
